Christmas has come and gone and it is all eyes on the new season

17/01/2025

With the festive period well and truly behind us, and celebrations for last year done and dusted, the focus for teams, organisers and promoters alike turns to the brand-new sporting year and all it brings.

The WSC Calender is published and currently promises a ten-round sidecar championship, with the annual Sidecar and Quad Cross of Nations team event to round out the year. As always, last-minute decisions can always affect the final schedule, but all current agreements are well under way and no major changes are anticipated.

Four rounds for the Quads are also currently planned, with negotiations continuing in France and The Netherlands for a further two.

EMX championship Quad races confirmed will take place at Kramolin 10/11 May, Fox Hill 24/25 May, Gdansk 14/15 June and Madona Latvia 16/17 August, alongside the Sidecar GP races over those weekends. It is intended the Quads will enjoy a six-round series and all effort is being directed at making that happen.

Live stream coverage of qualifying and the races will once again be offered over the entire weekends, with the dedicated WSC team now having got the debut season behind them.

Still more team announcements are due ahead of the new season, with national championships getting underway shortly. Testing programmes are also on the agenda for most teams, with Spain being one of the popular destinations. Stay with us as always, when we will continue to bring you everything as it happens here on www.fimsidecarcross.com along with all our social media platforms.
